We were picked up around 8 AM and were gone until 6/7 at night. We rode in jeeps through desert-- no seat belts. Stopped at desert mirage then went to ATV ride. It was nice they offered a fast or slow ride and you were able to switch on the way back. I'd recommend bringing your own water. They told us about how the beduoins lived-- kind of wondered if they really lived there. Had tea and smoked hookah pipe. They gave us some sandwiches- not much flavor but we were hungry. It also included dune buggy ride-- we got one of the really old ones not in great shape. We rode camels-the guy walking mine expected a tip. I wish I had some small bills because I know it's how they make a living. I kind of felt bad for the camels having to lay down and get up with every rider. My saddle was loose too which made the ride a little scary. The reptile area had horrible conditions so if you're an animal lover avoid. Make sure to dress in layers. At the end we were taken to an Egyptian show- probably more geared towards kids. The desert is really cold so bring something warm. Despite a few things I mentioned, I thought the value was great. My son is 22 and really had a blast!

We booked this through our Thomas cook rep & was 100% the best thing we did on the entire holiday! It was well worth the money and was an amazing experience. Also everyone was extremely friendly and kind

First of all I would like to say that the price/quality ratio was GOOD. To be honest I would rather pay more and have more. This was in the package for 45 euro:TransferQuad-tourBuggy-ridingLunchVisiting Bedouin villageBarbecueBelly dancerLooking at stars with a telescopeWe got picked up at our hotel at 10.30 and we were back at 19.00.The quad-tour last 20 minutes and the highest speed was 30 km/h. Don't forget to bring your own glasses because you will be charged approximately 5 euro if you use theirs. We were promised lunch at +- 14.00 but we only got two old-baked sandwiches without anything, this was at 16.00.The buggy-riding was 20 minutes, so 5 minutes per person with a very low speed, 15-20 m/h.If you are smaller than 1.70 m do not bother to drive the buggy, I could not reach the pedals :P.The guide (an over enthousiastic "popular" type) kept saying that the bedouins are real and can not speak English at all (and do not know their birthdays) but actually I had a conversation in English with a young boy who told me he was 7 years old. Strange..The barbeque was a real disapointment (dry pasta, tomato sauce was more tomato juice, uncooked meat) and the bellydancer was less than an amateur. The night was supposed to be closed by looking at the stars through a telescope but this did not happen. What bothers me most is that between the activities we had to wait for a very long time. This excursion could have happened in only 4 hours instead of 8.I know that this review does not really fit in the rest of the reviews here but this is really how our group experienced it.

We enjoyed sand buggies, horse riding, quad biking and camels (albeit with a fall!) and trip to the Bedouin camp, and the whirling dervishes and belly dancers were great as was Stargazing. But no animal however small short be kept in these conditions- a chameleon in a cardboard box and far too small housing for snakes and lizards. Shame as it spoilt the day.

Sand Buggys, Quad Bikes, Camels, Donkeys, Horses, Wild Jeep ride across the desert and a fantastic culture show after dark with telescopes to look at the moon. So many flies didn't fancy the food, but otherwise an awesome experience for all of us

Did a two hour quad biking session here, great briefing, very well spoken tour guides, safety is paramount. On the way to the village quad biking it really hurts your thumb as you use your thumb as the accelerator, on the return I went in the jeep which was a great experience too.

This was a mixd bag for me. I was pretty excited to go quad biking in the desert and it was a well priced tour. The pickup was prompt and the staff were friendly. We had a big group and mostly Russians. When we first got on the quad bikes they made us do a few practice laps, I was slower than the others so they put me at the back, which I didn't mind, but then they decided that I "needed help" even though I tried to explain that I was fine (honestly those bikes are not hard to ride!) but they made me have a helper who rode the entire way to the Bedouin village with me. It was a bit frustrating because he kept tugging on the brake and trying to back seat drive. Also no one else needed a helper and I didn't pay to have someone else ride with me, I wanted to do it myself. The scenery was beautiful and riding through the desert was quite an experience. I didn't enjoy the visit to the Bedouin village, we spent a lot of time waiting around before being directed to get on a camel. Two little girls walked us up and down briefly and then demanded money. Then we were taken into a tent and told about a few traditional Bedouin medicines which was a little interesting but not as good as quad biking. I think if they had taken us into the hills and let us ride around in a central area then that would have been more fun than the Bedouin village. On the return trip I made the helper ride on his own bike and let me go by myself. This was way more fun, I had no trouble keeping up and even found the pace a little too slow. Overall it was enjoyable but my advice would be to stick to your guns if they try to make you have a helper if you don't want one.

We went on the tour with Quad, Spider car, Jeep Safari, camel ride and Bedouin village. I had the time of my life on the Quad!! They should make the Spider car ride a little longer.. It was too much fun but way to short 5 mins per person. The jeep ride through the desert was hell. Too long and bumpy. It was nice to see the village and their costumes, the camel ride was fun as well. I'd definitely go again if I had the chance!

Super safari including buggies, spider vehicles, camels, jeep cars, climbing hells for photos, belly dance, Bedouin village, Bedouin market, and planets telescope. It took about 8-9 hours.

If you are into some fun, don't hesitate and book this trip. You'll get crazy jeep ride through the desert, you'll drive quad and a buggy. Although I must say, you don't get too much freedom to do get most of the quad or buggy - you drive convoy-style, low-speed.What else: bedouin life lecture, camel ride, belly dance, fakir show, night sky observationWe enjoyed that a lot.

We were a bit dubious because it was a massive operation out in the desert near Hurghada but our reservations were unsubstantiated. We did quad biking, visited a bedouin village, rode horses and camels and had a meal. Then, as a special treat the guide (Kamal, I think his name was) arrange for our 3 youngest children that had not been allowed to ride a quad bike on their own because they were not deemed old enough, to go out in an exclusive tour with eachother. They could not have been happier.Thanks.

Not for the fainthearted - Very bumpy ride in jeeps through the desert to a bedouin camp - followed by a camel ride, dinner and watched the beautiful sunset. Well reccommended.

Buggy buggy, great adventure, we picked the cheapest ride for 25euro, we got only buggy and it was awesome, speed driving across the desert!!! Than they give u tea, shisha and u ride on a camel. When you are in Hurghada you must go on a safari :) Yes, it`s too hot in the desert but the adrenaline is high so you wont have any problems :))
